Showing care for another’s plight,
Putting aside one’s personal concern
And entering another’s angst
A moment of temporal self-disregard
That will credibly suffice as “Grace.”
The voyage to another’s thoughts
The election to make a responsive trek
To another’s temporal sadness
Reveals the worth of Homo Sapiens
In its spiritual potential to
Render mute self-centered care
And reveal his skill at systemic grace,
