Blogpost # M. 302 “THE ELIXIR” (poesie)

Like the sudden advent,

Of a hot summer’s cooling breeze

The panacea for the toxic ambience of Midsummer,

It’s physical angst and sweaty brow–

The salutory maintenance of positive hope,

For the imminent restoration of our venerable Nation

Is the reliable template for temporal serenity.
