It is pragmatically indisputable that Early Man’s gradual advancement to giving in society was the existential predicate to his survival as a species. Historically, man’s societal existence has been made possible, shaped, and influenced by interactive communication between its members, creating a dynamic and usefully advancing social system. The societal assumption relative to Man’s truthful communication is a pragmatic necessity to its enduring existence, mutual protection, survival, and perforce in every aspect of Man’s interrelated way of life.

The recently imposed requirement of “fact-checking” has, by necessity, become a pragmatic and essential necessity, revealing the obscene level to which Donald Trump and his MAGA populist horde have inflicted a grievous and sustained injury to what previously existed as the assumption of truth and integrity of the written or spoken word. The formerly mundane and routine practice of journalistic review to edit inadvertent factual mistakes has metamorphically evolved, thanks to Trump and his MAGA populists, to a shameful, but mandatory, necessity. The trusted written or spoken word has, atavistically descended to its questionable veracity. It is this disastrous development to which we alarmingly refer in the first sentence of this writing. What can be the utilitarian value of any media made, or personal communication, lacking the essential assumption of truth and accuracy?
