The Old Testament tale of “The Tower of Babel” (Genesis) tells of a people, who after “the Great Flood,” ambitiously set about to build a great tower reaching up to heaven. The Deity, to punish them for their ignorant presumption, confused their spoken languages and thus rendered them incapable of accomplishing their vaunted project. We are not often inclined to utilize analogic references to the Bible; still, we could not resist the analogously relevant, “Tower of Babel” story, reminding us of Man’s inclination to ignorant presumption of unattainable capability.
Presumably, we have already characterized our amoral, orange-haired, unAmerican protagonist, to not require further comment on his egocentricity, absence of moral compass, indecency, and disrespect for the constitution and rule of law. It is this empirically censurable and contemptuous protagonist who is the architect of record of the soon-to-be effectuated Presidential Cabinet; the latter is analogously and predictably, slated for failure akin to that of the apocryphal” Tower of Babel,”
The predictability of success of the Trump-selected Presidential proposed cabinet is factually equivalent to the degree of the expectation of success of sight-challenged air traffic controllers, the suitability of formerly imprisoned perverts for child sexual offenses as nursery school teachers, or heart surgeons with disabling blood phobia, Nevertheless, it would, be empirically consistent with his exotic, self-delusional persona. The predictable cause of the failure of the enterprises differs from that of the Biblical tale, nevertheless, a similar .disastrous result is rationally predictable,
Trump’s announced selection of exotic Cabinet members is consistent with his inarguably demonstrated egocentric monomania and incapability relative to his incapable and self-interested discharge of the responsibilities of the Office of the President. His sole criterion for selection of cabinet membership has irrefutably proven to be based upon those who have indicated in word and deed, exclusive fealty to him; regardless of their objective unfitness and inarguable unsuitability for appointment. The unavoidably predictable result will be Babel-like chaos.
As illustrative examples, his initial choice for the existentially vital role of the supervision and control of National law and legal policy revealed a publically known sex offender, statutory rapist, drug user and dealer; mercifully, obliged to shamefully resign,and be replaced by a politically oriented supporter of Trump who has frighteningly agreed to help him wreak. Nazi-fashion vengeance (“retribution”) on his political adversaries; a head of government intelligence who has demonstrated her support of Vladimir Putin and the newly ousted, Syrian tyrant, Assad; a Secretary of Health and Human Resources with paranoid conspiracy ideations, who. ominously, seeks to eliminate medically vital vaccination programs (polio, flu, Covid, measles, mumps, diphtheria, smallpox, and other mortal, but preventable diseases) who has, interestingly and troublesomly revealed the exotic presence of a worm in his brain, and who admits to bizarrely depositing a dead bear in New York’s Central Park; A Secretary of Defense, the overseer of the entire range of the Nation’s Armed Forces and the Pentagon, who is a publicly displayed sloppy alcoholic, sexual offender, and, ominously, whose body is revealingly covered with large tattoos supporting White Cristian Nationalalism; as proposed head of the FBI, a Trump acolyte, who is sympathetically compliant with Trump’s Nazi-style dedication to wreak retribution against his critics, civilian and governmental, most particularly Congressional members of the appointed Committee to investigate his despicable attempt at National Insurrection; a Homeland Security Secretary, who, is personified by her incapacity, lack of experience, her support of the orange autocrat, and, who famously, shot and killed her 14 month old puppy, in a ditch because he was, in her explnatory words, a “slow learner;” an Immigration Czar who will deport millions of immigrant families legal and unregistered alike. The balance of his cabinet picks is blessed with similar egregious characteristics,
Trump’s notoriously erratic and inappropriate selection of synchronic cronies for the proposed Presidential Cabinet, like the eccentric and preposterous designator, himself, will predictably collapse and render useless Trump’s Babel-like) construction and be quickly and appropriately succeeded in keeping with the permanency of structural principle, suitable to a Nation enduringly dedicated to Republican Democracy.
