It would logically be the case, that if one were systemically inclined to accept the meme that the contents of the “Good Book” (the New Testament) are irrefutable, that he is no doubt, a subscriber to its “irrefutable” determinations, such as: “Man, is the center of the universe, consequently, the moon travels around the Earth, that the “omnipotent” Deity created the Earth and its inhabitants, fauna, and flora in six days and despite His Omnipotency” needed to rest on the seventh, the Sabbath, which is to be observed by Man in pious rest from labor, each Sunday. Notably, experts in the field have conclusively determined that the Planet’s history extends to upwards of four billion, three hundred million years. If so, one is predictably prepared to follow the harsh Biblical declaration that “unrepentant” homosexuals are an “abomination” and “destined to go to Hell.”
What in reality, is empirically irrefutable, is that hormones and chromosomes, in various numbers and arrangements, are chemically and biologically responsible for the determination of biological sex and irrefutably not, moral choice. Moreover, scientific research has demonstrated that the classic concept of bifurcation of sex and gender has been reliably disproven; notwithstanding the Bible’s harsh admonitions regarding homosexuality and gender inconsistency. It might, instructively be recalled that ardent followers of the New Testament universally and eternally, have declared the scientific and anthropological theory of Natural evolution irrefutably, erroneous.
The eternal endurance of such atavistic bigotry, notwithstanding its disapproval, on an objective and scientific basis, has resulted in untold tragedy, unnecessary divisiveness, war and conflict, human misery, and societal dislocation. What is, in fact, irrefutable, is that the vilification of a natural result of involuntary and determinative birth, systemically brought about by the nuanced assortment of hormones and chromosomes, as a human abomination is reprehensible, bigoted, indefensible, and eventuates in unnecessary misery and suffering.
Christianity has extended “religious irrefutability” to the modern conception that abortion is a carnal sin, notably, despite its complete absence of mention in the Bible. The self-righteous anti-abortion screed has been falsely, and impactfully awarded the status of Biblical admonition, despite the plain fact that knowledge of fertilization, sperm, and the egg was unknown until recent times. To create humanism into this manufactured admonition, its proponents have tactically bestowed upon the inanimate zygote and blastoid the irrefutable status of humans. They piously and morally proclaim, that “life” irrefutably begins at the initial biological, yet temporally uneventful, contact with the egg. “Personhood” and human rights have been, bizarrely, but tactically, attributed to a mere contact and conglomeration of human chemicals, that may, or may not, successfully morph into a living being and only after many hoped-for successful months of successful development.
The outrageous and tactical granting of the fetus’s personhood, to buttress the irrefutable desire on the part of religious zealots to, shamefully and atavistically, transmogrify a rationally enlightened Republican Democracy into a “Dark Ages” theocracy, might, conceivably be further advanced if the zygote, blastoid, or “fetus” were legally accorded the constitutional right to vote (of course, based upon the presentation of valid proof of citizenship). Such a concocted legal franchise, if legally challenged, would irrefutably be approved at SCOTUS by Justice Samuel Alito.
