Blogpost # M. 346 WORD ATROPHY

In view of the fact that words are the overt expression of relevant thought, it may be of interest to consider certain unorthodox selections from our lexicon that have varied or changed in recent employment, or have become virtually extinct. Such phenomena, conceivably, are indicators of the ongoing empirical of change in their societal context. We have randomly selected some illustrative words, perceived as representative of such contextual changes. Our generalized (metaphysical) presumption is that such changes may be related to the Initially, insalubrious trend to digitally impersonal means of communication. “

SINCERE:

Initially, we cannot resist the temptation to refer to our favorite word, notably, more honored in its conceptual merit than its ubiquity, viz., “sincere.” The beneficial word is derived from the two Latin words “sine,” meaning without, and “cere,” meaning wax. The authentically skilled Roman cabinet makers constructed their furniture so skillfully that its constituent parts fit, or “dovetailed,” permanently. The pretenders required an adhesive glue (“wax”) to hold their less skillfully constructed furniture intact. “Sincere” came to mean, in our lexicon, “legitimate” or “honest, an adjective not quite universally applicable in these materialistically-oriented days. We would welcome any increase in the ubiquitous practice represented by this societally salubrious word.

NICE, DECENT:

These two admirable adjectives seem to have entered the lexicographic state of extinction, except for their bizarrely disagreeable use as a relevant sarcastic comment regarding an unkind action. The two adjectives, in fact, metaphysically describe fundamentally positive intentions, judgmental kindness, and perhaps empathy, and societally acceptable actions or thoughts. In our view, these words symbolize the systemic essence of good character, but are seldom spoken for fear of appearing unsophisticated or jejune; in fact, the dynamics of the underlying qualities are essential to societal success and interactive acceptability.

“WHATEVER” :

The current (mis)use of this word is personally infuriating. Its intended context connotes the granting of unlimited choice by a generous member of society to an inquisitive request of another. It is a warm expression of generosity and friendship. Notwithstanding the intended use of this expression of friendship and generosity, the word has universally been employed as a harsh, reactive expression of impatient dismissal. This travesty of syntax may, conceivably. be another consequence of the extant impersonality of a digitalized, insensitive. society’

“AWESOME,””ABSOLUTELY”

These two consummate adjectives as often thoughtlessly employed, achieve the level of verbal overkill.” Majestic words, such as”awesome,” are expressions reflecting a daunting, impressive, inspiring reaction to a stimulus, external or conceptual. such as Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, Mount Vesuvius, The Mona Lisa, The Northern Lights, and a Lunar Eclipse. The appropriate use of the word “absolutely” is reserved for momentous decisions or confident expression of scientific or dogmatic beliefs. Its contemporary use as a reply to an inquiry as to the quality of pizza, or, perhaps, whether a trip to the park would be agreeable, are tawdry examples of word overkill and empirically inappropriate.

“SO”:

This simple word is properly utilized as a consequential link between causation and relevant effect. By illustration: “it was cold, outdoors, so we wore overcoats; he never showed up, “so” we proceeded without him; he was not feeling well, “so” he went to the doctor; the jury found him not guilty, “so” he was freed..

We are mystified as to the ubiquitous use of this relationally conclusive word as the first word in a response to a question, most commonly occurring in the news media. It seems to have replaced the former hesitating and meaningless word, “well,” preceding a speaker’s response to questions.

“COOL”:

The word “cool”, bizarrely and ubiquitously employed to express enthusiastic assent, would appear to be the temporal offspring of the similarly inarticulate, but apparently outdated, “groovy”. It is, like the word “hot,” used to describe a physically appealing person, misused and atrophied; as opposed to its utility as an instructional demarcation on water faucets..It is also an emotional, albeit entirely non-specific, approbation of a suggested action, a general signification of mutual agreement, or, perhaps, a declared assurance of personal equanimity and personal composure.

The above list of misapplied vocabulary, while illustrative, is by no means complete. The few selected examples have been chosen to illustrate such thematic impediment (of the ersatz use of vocabulary)_to meaningful, intended communication.

Should the present thematic impediment require an assurance of material importance, one might consider the contemporary dearth of natural. communicative conversation, the virtual extinction of written personal correspondence, together with the ubiquitous preference for facile and populist diversions, like electronic games and cheap television entertainment, instead of thoughtful conversation, written personal correspondence, and contemplative reading. When the modern individual (rarely) does choose to communicate interactively, the apt use of accurate and meaningful language becomes vitally essential.

Blogpost # M.345 ADVENTURES IN THE LAND OF R.E.M.

We would like to be allowed a brief, but emotionally needed “time out” from the angst-ridden scenerio portraying the political and social events of the day. We would o relate a (fictional) dream experience following the televised broadcast of any Trump proclaimation or perhaps, a media report on the masked, Gestapo-style round-up of innocent Hispanic Americans. Some say that weird nightmares can result from the ingestion of incompatible and exotic foods; however, we stand firm on our theory that bizarre R.E.M. experiences are notzably caused by outrage, or just plain disgust, engendered by the visceral pain initiated by the words of a MAGA speaker or alternatively, a traumatic experience watching Fox News.

In our technicolor nightmare, we are presented with a huge MAGA Labor Day gala, hosted by the President and his mannequin-like First Lady in the new, glitzy gold ballroom, installed at great expense at the hubristic Chief Executive’s behest.

It is essential to the appropriate rendition of the dignified grandeur of this event to take note of the exalted nature of the invitees, whose celebrity, sufficiently and accurately depicted, serves to affirm the greatness and celebrity of its Presidential host. An illustrative, albeit partial list of such dignitaries, seriatim, is as follows:

Dr. Percival P. Pookh, the first research scientist to innovativedly put cotton in aspirin bottles; Stanislaus Casaba, the celebrated author of the best selling, “Growing Earwax, for Fun and Profit;” Armond G. Volvarian, the great-grandson of Ignatz Volvarian, the celebrated aficionado and composer of classical music for the nose flute; Dr. Swanson Perdue, the agrarian biologist whose creative researches and work in the area of avian genes led to the significant advent of boneless chicken wings; Steve Gridiron, the first coach to innovatively employ two footballs simultaneously in each game; Wilma Wirebrush, Nurse Practitioner, famous for her cosmetic repair of Japan’s celebrated, movie star, “Godzilla;” Professor I.P. Daily, esteemed author of “Yellow River; Robert Kennedy Jr. the discoverer of the secret government microscopic tracking devices in government-sponsored programs of vaccination, and Jonathan Z. Smoot, the valorious lifeguard eternally on duty at the Trump White House Car Pool.

As security Cabinet Member Kristi Noem stationed at a strategic location, vigilantly sat with loaded revolvers to deter any pet dog terrorists from infiltrating the event and Pete Hedgseth, dressed only in a scant bathing suit, thus proudly revealing his body tattoos supporting the White Christian Militia movement, as he entertained the crowd strumming a ukelele and singing bawdy drinking songs.

In a humongous display on the right side of the Golden Ballroom was a food counter containing 6,000 McDonald’s Hamburgers and French Fries, manned by a legion of “burger flippers” with canisters of Heinz Tomato Ketchup at the ready, and 400 boxes of paper napkins. However, amid such largesse, the invitees, especially the members of the Presidential Cabinet, were gravely disappointed to learn that the large oil tanker, tasked to deliver the liquor, never arrived, having unfortunately been involved in a fiery accident with a van carrying illegal mariachi players.

As “luck would have it, less than 20 minutes after the inspirational invocation delivered by the Right Reverend, Dr. Dexter Houdini, and, as the hungry assembled were stampeding to the food station, a crack developed in the, newly plastered, decorative ceiling and 47 boxes containing Officioal CIA files tumbled to the Ballroom Floor necessitating a total evacuation, for security purposes, and the egigent termination of the program.

That was “Great!” exclaimed the witless, albeit hungry, Donald Trump, as he generously dumped a blob of ketchup on a greasy hamburger.

Blogpost # M. 344 MIDAS REDUX

Most readers will recall the Greek myth of King Midas. The avaricious King prayed that he be granted the ability to turn everything he touched to his coveted gold, but thereafter discovered to his dismay that his food and tragically, his beloved daughter would also be so transmogrified

Our Nation, radically created by its Founders to eschew the historical injustice of European Monarchies and the institution of privileged classes, was envisioned and created to be a Democratic Republic, “By and for the People.” Royal and class privilege, together with contextually traditional and stereotypical trappings, were rendered anachronistic and out of context in the new conception of governance. The successful implementation of such a doctrinal policy of societal morality, for almost three centuries, albeit with some temporal hiccups, resulted in the maintenance and duration of a successful and resourceful Nation, and consequently admired as an avatar of equality and social justice.

As we perceive history, the architectural style and public character of the building, housing America’s National Executive Offices (“The White House”), in sync with the enlightened philosophy of the Founders, was purposefully designed to be relatively modest. Such intention was philosophically and demonstratively in notable contrast with the palatial magnificence of the historic European monarchs. The architectural conceit was to symbolize the radically just and equitable character of the newly created Nation

As witnessed in the televised news media, Donald J. Trump, in his singular occupation of the White House, has demonstrated his apparent inappropriate affinity for the grand decorative style of Napoleon, King Philip V, or Catherine the Great, which was in aesthetic and doctrinal contrast with Washington or Jefferson; in his evident, crass, and Midas-like preoccupation with gold as well as sundry other (ego-bolstering). imperial symbols, like large, costly military parades and flattering portraiture.

Trump’s monomaniacal lust for recognized greatness, albeit, fatally hampered by his demonstrated incapability, ignorance, and bizarre delusions of grandeur, vainly seeks assuagement by the empirical accumulation of gold and other success symbols. In our view, his mission is inexorably doomed to abject failure. Trump’s solitary and reductive enclosure in his signature, psychoneurotic bubble disables him from any reflective consideration, save ego protection and perceived glorification.

Consistent with his reductive self-interest, he reportedly is spending several million dollars of taxpayer money on having the historically venerated Oval Office festooned with gold leaf and, additionally, constructing an unprecedented golden ballroom. This Midas-like preoccupation is diagnosably identifiable as an inappropriately desperate and hapless attempt to achieve the public’s impression of greatness. This neurotic display is shamefully concomitant with his denial of funds for needy American children and those who are inhabitants of other countries, for food and medicine, his fiscal corruption, denigration of the Nation’s institutions of learning, elimination of the Nation’s vital health research agencies, his ubiquitous derogation of the U.S. Constitution, and the rule of law, his serial mendacity. and dcem, onstrated absence of a modicum olf societal moral compass,

Our contextual, orange-haired Midas, uniquely, is the singular American President, so reductively egocentric as to be entirely oblivious of character and traditional ethnos of the American Nation, as a consequence of his monomaniacal preoccupation with his personally reductive issues.

His golden route to success and favorable recognition is predictably as doomed as his analogical blockhead, the legendary King Midas.

Blogpost # M. 343 AN OPERATIC LAMENT

With due apologies to the great American composer, the late George Gershwin, we would, for contextual purposes, discombobulate the opening line of his modern-day opera, “Porgy and Bess,” by perversely stating, “Summertime and the stomach is queasy.”

At the “Summertime” of this writing, our democratic nation has been painfully experiencing an unprecedented array of challenging issues, generating an unsettling atmosphere of citizen discord, contention, and insecurity. The Trumpist, demagogic battle cry, “Make America Great Again,” has seen realization only on the red baseball caps worn by his adherents. This summer season, the Nat finds itself divided and profoundly troubled. The “living aint easy.”

The populist election of an outrageously unsuitable Chief Executive has emphatically validated the sage admonition of learned political philosophers to the effect that a Democratic Republic is systemically vulnerable. Sadly, the United States of America, once the venerated avatar of freedom, liberty, and the aspiration for universal equality, has suddenly been thrust into a deep mire of unprecedented and embarrassing inconsonance.

The extant situational, “livin” ain’t “easy,” evinces an awesome conglomerate of problems, including Ukraine-Russia-Putin, Epsteingate, autocratic reprisal-style “retribution,” against political opponents, inflation and higher consumer prices, Trump tariffs, vaccine conspiracies, elimination of utilitarian civil service agencies, the effective discontinuance of traditionally empathic programs of food and medicine to needy individuals, domestic and foreign, the decline of the revered legal system, including the Judiciary, the destruction of the democratically salubrious two-party political system, political corruption, startlingly including the President, in particular, and SCOTUS, the Gestapo-style private army of masked hoodlums detaining, arresting, and banishing to foreign torture prisons, peace-loving Hispanic-American residents, the ubiquitous Presidential disparagement of the Constitution and the Rule of Law, as well as the demonstration of his complete absence of societal moral compass, the curtailment of assistance, in terms of food and medicine to the needy, as well as the Presidential dedication to curtail social security and medicare, governmental efforts to limit the right of certain, selected citizens to vote, gross negligence regarding the Armageddon potential of “Global Warming,” and active support of the lethal fossil fuel oil industry (“drill, baby drill”); the latter proximately responsible for unpecedented tsunamis, seasonal irregularity, great fires, floods, tornadoes and meterological irregularity, civilization threatening promotion of “alternate facts” in place of empirical reality, autocratic attracks on traditional media, on higher educastion, on health research agencies, on programs to encourage constitutional equality, such as DEI, immoral and constitutionally forbidden Presidential acquisition of untold wealth, right-wing interference with the vote to favor Trump, disparagement and prejudicial statements and construed policies against the gay and disabled communities, Putin-like, delusional Trump statements of territorial, sovereign aggrandizement regarding Canada (“a 51st State”), as well as Greenland and Panama.

Most recently, the self-proclaimed High Emperor has egregiously seen fit to nationalize the Washington, D.C., National Guard for use as his army to fight (nonexisting) rising crime, in malign violation of law (Posse Comitatus) and the systemic and fundamental American character.

Porgy, this damn Summer ain’t that “easy” for nobody!

Blogpost # M.342 THE “SANITATION” DEPARTMENT

Kudos are long overdue to America’s singular “Sanitation Department,” which, in its unique dynamic nuance, performs the singularly unique duty of creating, as well as removing, garbage from the otherwise pure, detritus-free consciousness of the American Reader, by its quasi-parental censorship. The nuance of such dedicated redeemers and protectors of moral rectitude is that they, in addition, generate and distribute. alternative rubbish when subjectively deemed appropriate. Notably, they experience little or no awareness of the chronic, ubiquitous commission of cognitive dissonance. It admittedly requires profound dedication to dutifully disseminate, as well as dispose of, society’s garbage.

Some illustrative and laudatory illustrations may be discerned in their morally responsible positions on “election fairness,” on American history, and sexual propriety. In each of these worthy contexts, the thematic “Sanitation Department” responsibly, and on occasion, religiously, takes on the tireless duties of removal, (“morally cleansing”) and, when appropriate, the substitution and distribution of selected, offal, subjectively deemed more desirable.

Such sanitation workers, (“garbagemen”) resolutely eliminate books and essays dealing with the subjects such as those, known as “The Trail of Tears,” referring to President Andrew Jackson’s “Indian Removal Act,” by which countless numbers of innocent, indigenous Americans were forcibly evicted from their traditional, fertile homelands and tragically force- marched to “more suitable injun territory,” viz., the windy, non-arable wastelands of Oklahoma. Yet, bizarrely, such individuals appear to evince no shame or self-consciousness relative to the current MAGA xenophobia, based upon which Hispanic immigrants peacefully residing and working, for decades, in the United States are unjustly and heartlessly banished from their homes, some to Nations they had fled for their lives, many others to foreign torture prisons.

An additionalo illustrative instance of substitute garbage-type cognitive dissonance is seen in their strident, but empirically false, assertions of “election rigging, in the face of Donald Trump’s nationally televised phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State, illegally requesting the numerical enhancement of his votes, in Republican laws and regulations making it diffiucult for minorities to cast their votes, and blatently unconstitutional “gerrymandering.” What seems preferable to the contextual collectors is the implementation of their own iteration of unconstitutional garbage, in harmony with their demagogically installed paranoid ideations.

The Nation’s dark period of black chattel slavery is deemed to be appropriately excised and eliminated from literary and pedagogic mention by such zealous sanitation workers, who, notwithstandingly, do not shy away from the promotion of racially motivated policies and the denigration of just policies of cultural rehabilitation, like affirmative action and DEI. No thought of cognitive dissonance disturbs the skewed cognition of America’s reductive sanitation workers.

Freedom of speech is universally accepted as basic and essential to the definitive existence of the Democratic Republic. The same constitutes a principle at least, nominally accepted by Americans of every stripe, inclusive of those who arrogate to themselves the singular duty of judgmental review of books and educational curricula. Nonetheless, the MAGA sanitation officials, governmental and civilian, with authoritarian zeal, have removed curricula and exerted harsh financial penalties on institutions of liberal higher education, perceived as despoiling young minds by the study of reductively perceived “liberal trash.” Such garbage collectors, apparently, are neither hesitant nor self-consciously diffident about matters, considerably above their mental pay grade, provided the same appear to be in sync with the groupthink of the political, semi-literate, sanitation Chief of State.

It may, conceivably, be seen by certain MAGA adherents that the singular responsiblility relating to the dynamic substitution of garbage deemed preferentially desirable for the less utilitarian, local variety, donated by such nations as Russia, China, North Korea, and Hungary, is appropriately reciprocal for the plethora of gifts of more pragmatic value from our Nation; however, in our view, it would inarguably be suitable to return the same, ASAP, to the “generous” donors.

Blogpost # M. 341 IT’S ANTHROPOLOGICAL

For years, we had consistently failed in our arcane attempts to comprehend the origin and nature of our singular President, Donald J. Trump. Was his aberrative behavior a result of inadequate or skewed socialization? Childhood neglect or abuse? Diagnosable mental disorder? Psychopathic or sociopathic personality disorder? An acceptable explanation for his singularly delusional and demonstrated self-interest, entire lack of moral compass, and notably, his comprehensive detachment from societally established boundaries, we concluded, warrants a more profound determination of its etiology than a facile observation of an ” aberrant persona.”

After much metaphysically oriented contemplation, we have come to the conclusion, founded in Trump’s astonishingly bizarre public statements and perverse actions, augmented by their evident lack of expressed principle or discernible consistency, that the relevant causation far exceeds any empirically initially based conclusion.

While our proffered explanation, initially, may be deemed astounding or factually inconceivable, it, nevertheless, appears to” fit the bill,” as further evidenced by the nature of his determined drive for personal retribution against perceived political rivals or dissenters, egigently necessitated by his singularly ego-protective, and societally aberrant policies.

As evidenced by his unique, sui-generis character, Donald Trump visibly exudes the symptomology of a solitary, stranded, and hapless victim of an exotic world eternally challenging him to prove his presumed worth and the consequent aspiration to be seen as a “winner,” which we perceive to mean universally and eternally admired.

It is our thematic proposition that, analogous to the existence of, Man’s vestigial organs, viz., tonsils and appendix, deemed by biological anthropologists to have once been of systemic utility in the early stages of human developmental evolution, but are presently useless, superfluous, and capable of posing a potential threat to the salubrious functioning of contemporary mankind.

The universally accepted conceits of Locke and Rousseau concerning the existence of a social contract by which the individual willingly surrenders some liberties, in exchange for the ubiquitous benefits of living in society with others, are evidently absent from Trump’s atavistic and vestigial persona. In our view, the latter absence, for Trump, outweighs any concept of societal interdependence and moral responsibility. It is observable that Donald J Trump, inarguably, is not a participating party in the civilizational “Social Compact”

The latter observation evinces the presence of a uniquely primitive and socially underdeveloped member of the human species. Consistent with our judgmental theme, Donald J. Trump is a rare, “vestigial” leftover from Man’s anthropological and physico-systemic march toward acceptable humanism. There well may be other, such defective products of the evolutionary assembly line, but this one, notably, is no less, the President of the United States.

In the context of possible amelioration, we initially thought of a 60-day salutary assignment of Donald Trump to a troupe of jungle bonobos (Jane Goodall and other primatologists of note have commented on the socialized, communal structure of these evolved gorillas and, notably, their innate capacity for love, sensitivity, and empathy). However, on second thought, in moral and empathic consideration of these loving and peaceful beasts, we would prefer the electoral defeat of the psychopathic, vestigial phenomenon anthropologically identified as Donald Trump, analogous to the exigent, surgical excision of an infected vestigial organ from a fully evolved and normal patient.

Blogpost # M. 340 AN OPEN APERTURE

Yesterday evening, while routinely watching the evening news, we were profoundly disturbed to be introduced to the revelation of a “new” and “advanced” institutional State program (“PragerU”) which seeks to promote the inculcation of young schoolchildren in the immovable tectonics of biased and reductive, populist ignorance. It presents a cartoonized version of Christopher Columbus telling the young student watcher that the enslavement of black human beings was beneficial and morally preferable to their being killed. The brief excerpt of this filmed program of atavistic instruction of young schoolchildren provided a uniquely distressing aperture to our distressing perception of stereotypically reductive ignorance and its atavistic promotion of dehumanizing racial bigotry.

The film snippet presented an affably smiling, plainly virtuous, and admirable Christopher Columbus, holding a spyglass while morally proclaiming that the preferable choice of black slavery was preferable to that of death. We were suddenly obliged to draw in our breath in shocked reaction to this reductive and pathological declaration, common to the substantial minions of hubristically delusional Americans, known as White Christian Evangelicals.

We were aesthetically and philosophically grateful that merely a short excerpt of this dystopian children’s animated film was presented; nevertheless, this revealing new aperture, focused on a dystopian and regressive policy employed in the instruction of schoolchildren, doubtlessly will be useful in our ongoing attempt to comprehend the MAGA-style delusions of history and its reductive attitudes.

We would begin with the presented smiling depiction of an animated Christopher Columbus as the avatar of traditional American virtue. History shows that such a purported discoverer of America never reached the American continent and brought only exotic infectious diseases as well as cultural homicidal prejudice to the “New World.” We have witnessed the traditionally restrained and conventionally dignified National Geographic, devote no less than two of its venerable issues to the subject of the ethnocentric, malign cruelty of Columbus practiced on the indigenous peoples of the Western hemisphere, Notably, our personal recognition and celebration of “Columbus Day” is exclusively a grateful recogition of the many ubiquitous contributions of Italian immigrants to our State and the Nation.

The animated image of a smiling Christopher Columbus, articulating the inane and condescending (sophomoric) message that black people were preferentially enslaved as opposed to being killed, is a nauseatingly repulsive and ignorant example of pathological hubris; and conceivably ranks as the most deplorable verbal example of pathological cruelty and hubristic ignorance. The animated version of this purported hero of American history, smilingly delimits the available, empirical choices of black human beings to slavery or death; what happened to the universally natural choice of life and self-realization?

This shocking view of the contextually reductive and arrogant program of recommended childhood education is not, to any rational degree, consistent with the history of the rectitude of the Nation’s humanistic aspirations, and must be decisively thrown into the nearest and most obnoxiously scented dumpster.

Blogpost # M.319 A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

On August 2025, the world was treated to a bizarre transmogrification of William Shakespeare’s (1556) classic comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The public broadcast of our contextually analogous reprise of Shakespeare’s carnivalesque offering, featuring players wearing animal heads, evokes theatrical fantasy and has been thematically matched by two official heads of State, wearing business suits as functional theatrical costumes

A notable distinction with our construed version, notably performed before the entire world and entered into recorded history, was that it was not an instance of theatrical diversion, but performed by two heads of mutually enemy states; in fact, the travesty was sufficiently unsuitable as to justify the adornment of the classic 1556 play’s animal heads. The internationally broadcast event, sadly, revealed itself as stereotypical of the systemic ignorance and monomaniacal perspective of our singular Chief Executive, Donald J. Trump, and, by contrast, the cunning and psychopathic persona of the Russian autocratic leader, Vladimir Putin.

The functional co-star in our tawdry drama, Russia’s autocratic oligarch, who hubristically orchestrated an unjust, full-scale, aggressive invasion of democratic Ukraine, February 2022, continuing his unlawful imperial drive for expansion, begun in 20i4 with its immoral conquest of Crimea. Putin’s ongoing aggressive war is, notably, the biggest European war since World War 2.

History will record a ubiquitous World response evincing shock and disapproval at Russia’s (Putin’s) unprovoked incursion into Ukraine, and responsively furnished financial and military assistance (principally by the United States, and by Europe and NATO), to the beleaguered nation. Putin’s hubristic boast that he would conquer Ukraine in three days proved to be empirically delusional; the hard-fought and bloody war has, in fact, persisted for more than three years. Among Trump’s egoistic boasts was that he would end the war in the first week of his Presidency; however, akin to the totality of his universal “snake oil” representations, he was characteristically and predictably impotent.

Donald Trump, a proclaimed and neurotically motivated future dictator, had enjoyed a long period of delusional “bromance” with the psychopathic dictator and often referred favorably to him, most especially, relative, his admirable political acumen and acquisition of unparalleled authority; not uncommonly assisted by having his detractors murdered. It is our confident perception that, sadly, by such farcical theatrical presentation, had the wileyPutin easily won the devoted admiration and high praise of the egocentric Trump by feigning praise and officious respect.

To the contrary, the television and newspaper media often reported on the unfriendly and imperial attitude towards Zelinsky, the young and admirably indefatigible democratically elected President of Ukraine, our ally, including a televised, inappropriate “dressing down, with the aid of the loyal and obnoxious persona of the exotic vice-President. This is notably and implausibly to be inexplicably compared with Trump’s many reverenced and intimately friendly interactions with the murderous and wily autocrat, Putin.

Our contextually analogous,”Midsummer Night’s Dream,” raises its curtain at the public request by Donald Trump to negotiate a peace treaty between the aggressor, Russia, and the wrongly attacked Ukraine by an official meeting with Putin, without the presence of Zelinsky, of Ukraine. The tragic comedy reaches its ultimate zenith with Trump’s exclusive invitation to Putin to meet on American soil (Alaska), again, without the presence of Ukraine’s President Zelensky.

The tragic-comedy is epitomized by the exalted view of the magnificent red carpet treatment of the autocratic wrongdoer thereby affording the villainous Putin a faux public affirmation of recognized rectitude. The reductive ignorance and lack of discernment of Donald J.Trump, consistent with his daily modus operandi, this hot, Summer August, results in a visible public victory to the tyrant, by his demonstrated affirmation and recognition by the incapable and irresponsible Trump; a comedy of national dissonance amounting to a tragic and ironic reprise of Shakjespear’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Blogpost # M. 318 THE NEW OZ

Perhaps the benevolent reader will forgive our repetitive ruminations relative to the dystopian “Land of Oz,” to which our venerated Democratic Republic has, of late, descended. The shamefully outrageous transformation of the venerable and unique Democratic Republic, thoughtfully created by its wise Founders and successfully enduring (despite some historically anecdotal hiccups) for almost three centuries, has seen itself transmogrified into a veritable “Land of Oz, presided over by an orange-dyed-haired, malevolent Wizard.

More detailed and specific accounts of the contextual dystopia have been expressed in prior writings; however, the singular angst and repulsion, notably generated by two recent outlandish and grotesque circumstances, have personally catalyzed their unique and inexorable rumination

It is our sense that this blogspace has sufficiently articulated the panoply of the Trump-MAGA debasement and injury to our Democratic Republic. Nevertheless, a duo of notably ironic and dystopian observations has exceeded all bearable bounds of acceptably empirical reality and evinces the analogously bizarre distortions of a fun-house mirror. It is such astonishing, Wizard of Oz developments that have sorely tested our determined resolution to patiently observe the temporal travesty of the Trump Presidential rule.

Two especially ironic disturbing and factually inappropriate acts by the Nation’s orange hazmat President are, thematically, (1) the federalizing of the Washington, D.C. National Guard to serve as community police, and (2) the stated intention of the President to audit the propriety of the programmatic policies of America’s Smithsonian Institution inclusive of the acceptable nature of the latter’s Museum exhibit policies. We will attempt to briefly summarize (and simultaneously control our responsive outrage and painfully perseverated views).

(1) Policing D.C. by the federalized National Guard:

Trump’s stated motivation for this act, found in his false and tactical declaration of an increase in D.C. crime and the existing descent of the Capitol City into a state of violent barbarism. In truth, official statistics demonstrate his tactical falsity by their expert official calculations, showing a notably lowered D.C. crime rate. The most vexing consideration, however, is the criminal nature ot the act of this darling of the Christian Evangelicals; Trump has been convicted of no less than 34 felonies, indicted for a further dumpsterfull of venal criminalty, been adjudged a tax cheat, a woman abuser, a defamer, a giver of substantial bribes to avoid publication of his brisk commerce with call girls, a perpetrator of corruption, electoral as well as personal. Trump has empirically proven himself to have no respect for the Constitution, the law of the land, and has publicly and irrefutably demonstrated a complete lack of moral compass’

His purported motive in using the military for presidential purposes (and, notably, in breach of the US Posse Comitatus Act) is motivated by other intentions, viz., the deflection from the poor state of the Nation’s economy and the Epstein sex scandal.

(2) The critical oversight and correction of the policies of the Smithsonian Institution, including its museum policy.

The Smithsonian Institute is the World’s largest museum and educational research complex. It has been eternally dedicated to the beneficial protection and shaping of our future by preserving America’s heritage, as well as resourcing new knowledge and resources.. Any government political interference would be harmful to its beneficial mission. The proposition that the semi-literate, reductionist, egocentric Donald J. Trump would have the appropriate capability, even if legal and theoretically needed, is empirically delusional and dishonest.

As Dorothy said to Toto, on arriving at the Land of Oz, “We are not in Kansas anymore.”

Blogpost # M.317 REMISSION AND RECUPERATION

If we were to empirically analogize, the “Nation,” the entity to which political scientists refer to as “The Body Politic,” the consternation and angst now suffered by the mainstream, traditional American citizen would be attenuated, and the salutary sense of optimism would reinstate itself.

During the natural course of Man’s life, he universally experiences anecdotal periods of discomfort, threatening, infirmity, or ill health. By fsr, the greater number and variety of such maladies, such as colds, flu, and indigestion, are temporal and are, by past similar experience, patiently and optimistically borne. Notwithstanding such confidence, pending its uncomfortable course, it is empirically productive of impatience, notably, as to the prevailing symptoms and at rare times, its sequelae.

The state of the body politic of our traditionally salubrious Nation is at present, demonstrably ill, being unfortunately beset by the dangerous, toxic, and insidious pandemic of autocratic”Trumpism,” an autocratic immune disorder, whose clinical etiology is empirically founded in a combination of demagoguery, an uninformed grievance-inclined gullible populism, financed by certain corrupt anti-regulation industrial polluters. The illness is notably systemic, presenting a ubiquitously pernicious undemocratic governmental incompetence and corruption, which has remarkably infected its systemic tri-partite architecture with democratic disability and unprecedented, shameless corruption.

It is in this contextual setting that the traditional mainstream citizen, concerned for the systemic health of his normally uniquely hearty and robust Democratic Republic, finds himself in an empirically justified state of fear and depression. It is in such an understandable and rationally justified state of mind that one is appropriately and salubriously, to be reminded of the ultimate empirically experienced and inevitable arrival of remission and restored health and vigor.

However, like many ubiquitously contagious diseases, such as strep throat, the presenting malady requires medicinal support for its amelioration and full recovery. In the contextual instance, the “penicillin” consists of a compound of faith, as opposed to a depressed resignation, and the affirmative articulation of political propriety, when possible and by whatever appropriate means present themselves; as well as the solicitous vote for candidates, local and federal.

With resolute faith and optimism, we look forward to the imminent happening of the inevitable, recovery of the American body politic, and the restoration to its primal. health. We would be extremely fortunate to find that the contextual illness has resulted in an immunative result.
